Q: Is your company licensed?
A: Airport Minicabs is a fully licensed company and we abide by the regulations laid by the Public Carriage Office

Q: What type of service do you provide?
A: We provide a private transfer taxi service. We provide travellers with a vehicle and a driver to transport them to or from UK Airports, Seaports, London Hotels or any UK Postal Code.

Q: Are your prices per car or per person?
A: We charge per car and not per passenger. We charge fixed prices and do not provide shared service; our vehicles are sole use vehicles.

Q: How early do I need to book my transfer?
A: We recommend bookings to be made 24 hours in advance however if you would like to make a last minute booking, please call (+44) 20 8677 7507.

Q: Can I make a booking by phone?
A: Certainly, we accept phone bookings and lines are open 24 hours a day.

Q: Will I receive a confirmation of my booking?
A: Yes, we will provide you with an email confirmation of your booking within 24 hours. If for any reason you do not receive this confirmation, please call or email us.

Q: Can I make a booking for more than 8 passengers?
A: Yes, we can accommodate as many passengers as you require by providing more vehicles.

Q: Will we be met at any time of the day?
A: Yes, Airport minicabs operate 24 hours a day. The only time we levy an additional charge is at the Christmas period normally - Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Q: How will I meet my driver?
A: Our email confirmation will set out where your driver will be waiting. This will usually be at the Information desk of any airport terminal. You will also be provided with your driver's mobile phone number, should you need to make contact.

Q: What if I cannot locate my driver?
A: If you cannot find your driver, please call the office on: (+44) 20 8677 7507 and we will locate your driver for you.

Q: What if my flight is delayed?
A: So long as you have provided us with your Flight Number and your preferred collection time, we will track when your plane lands and adjust accordingly. This means you will not incur and additional waiting charges. If you know in advance you can text us on: (+44) 7831 851 581

Q: Can you guarantee that your driver will be at the airport on time?
A: Our drivers will make every effort to arrive on time; at times it is difficult to predict traffic and other situations outside of our control. We will make every effort to contact you via the public address system at the airport if we are delayed. These instances are very rare 99% of the time we are able to meet passengers. In these circumstances we make every effort to arrange transport through another company.

Q: Do I have to pay any additional waiting time?
A: The driver will arrive at the airport after the plane has landed you have 40 minutes free waiting time. If you are delayed and you require the driver to wait, please contact us as soon as possible so we can instruct the driver to wait for a further 1 hour, which will cost £20. If we do not hear from you, the driver will leave the airport. Please note - if you have any reason to believe that you will clear airport formalities within 30 minutes of landing, please advise us so we can make arrangements for you. The first 40 minutes of waiting is included in the price

Q: Do I need to pay in advance?
A: No you do not need to pay in advance. Where you elect to pay on arrival we will require card details to secure the booking.

Q: Can I pay by credit card?
A: We accept major credit cards via the website. There is a surcharge of £10 for all card payments. You can also pay the driver on arrival in pounds sterling but you will be required to provide credit card details to secure the booking.

Q: Will my credit card number be secure?
A: Yes, the credit card transaction will be processed by our Bank. This will take place across a secure server and connection. We keep all your card details in a safe and secure place and are then destroyed after the journey has been completed.

Q: Can I pay in cash?
A: Yes you can pay cash directly to the driver on the day of your transfer

Q: Are there any additional costs?
A: There is a minimum charge of £5 for any additional diversions.

Q: Do I need to tip the driver?
A: Tipping is not essential, however if you are happy with the service it is customary to tip between 10-15%.

Q: Can I cancel or postpone my booking?
A: Yes, you can cancel a booking, please refer to our terms and conditions.

Q: How much luggage can I carry?
A: It is essential that you book a vehicle capable of carrying your luggage for an efficient transfer.
